The client was clear—they didn’t want just another typical lanai pool. They wanted something unique, something that felt connected to nature. Our vision: to bring the feel of the Everglades right into their backyard.

A meandering, dark-bottom pool became the centerpiece, nestled among native plantings like sweeping fakahatchee grasses and gracefully curved sabal palms. The result is a scene that feels organic and untamed—like it’s always been there.

The pool coping was custom-fabricated from hand-cut flagstone with a split-edge face, adding a tactile, natural finish. Surrounding the pool, we installed man-made pavers that flawlessly mimic the look of real flagstone. Each piece interlocks for structural integrity, while maintaining the irregularity and randomness that gives true stone its charm.

Beneath the covered lanai, a full outdoor kitchen takes shape with weatherproof cabinetry, a built-in grill, sink, outdoor-rated fridge, and a custom vent hood—all designed to withstand the Florida climate while offering stylish functionality.

This outdoor space is more than just a pool—it’s a private nature retreat, shaped by thoughtful design and a deep respect for the natural Florida landscape.
