My wife and I contracted with Knaak Design to transform our small deck, into an outdoor living experience to include a 500 sq/ft porcelain paver patio and surrounding gardens. From the very beginning, Rob from Knaak was an inspiration. He had limitless ideas and was a terrific source of possibilities for us to decide upon. The hands-on guys were courteous, knowledgeable, neat, and timely. The entire team worked seamlessly as they progressed through the different stages of the project. After getting several quotes for our job we decided to go with Knaak, they had experience with the product that we had already purchased from the manufacturer which was important to us because the pavers we bought aren’t your average run of the mill pavers they are 24x24 porcelain pavers. Robert understood what we wanted and gave us a fair price. His crew was awesome they showed up on time ready to work and brought our vision to life. Would recommend them to anyone. Our lania is amazing now we spend a lot of time out there.

After considering several options for an outdoor kitchen we chose Knaak Design Group. We began our search by looking at prebuilt grill units, which can be placed on site just like a piece of furniture, none of these units met our needs so we decided on a full installation. We had gotten design drawings and price quotes from two or three kitchen installers prior to choosing Knaak Design Group. Ultimately, we did select Knaak Design Group because their proposal included a detailed list of materials and appliances to be installed, and final drawings which accurately represented what the kitchen would look like at completion. Our initial visit to their office was followed by multiple site visits to confirm measurements and placement of the appliances. The installer who did the installation was the most detail oriented and accurate craftsman that I have seen in a very long time.

After many unpleasant experiences with various contractors, I can't say enough about how happy I am to have worked with Robert and his staff. This was a large project replacing our pool and associated landscaping. I expected, with this type of project, unforseen issues would arise. The few that did were handled quickly and professionally. Any concerns I had were immediately addressed. The result is beautiful. I am happy to give my highest recommendation.

We moved into the naples area and found Robert and his design and landscaping team on line after trying a few other outfits. All aspects of our interaction with this professional group was excellent. From design work, to installation, to creative potting ideas, irrigation installation, service, and communication etc was exemplary. Irma took out one of our privacy hedges we had just installed. From the moment I saw Knaak Design Group's work at a friend's house, I knew I wanted to team up with them for the landscape renovation and courtyard remodel on my 1990's vintage home. They have offered timely proposals and beautifully detailed plans in an experienced manner. Being somewhat creative myself, Knaak Design Group has recognized and respected my input regarding design elements. The process has become quite enjoyable. Bouncing ideas back and forth with them until we come up with something quite remarkable has been fun to say the least. It is hard to find a group that does excellent design work and does not specify that you work with their team to do the plant installations. In this case I was able to pay for the plans and work with the best designers to come up with the exact plan that I wanted. Then I was able to bid the projects out to find the best fit for building the pool and also installation of the landscaping. I would highly recommend them. They do excellent work.

I worked with Robert and his design team on a total landscape design for our newly renovated beach home . They gave us several designs to start with, we chose plants from their suggestions based on our favorites and they redid the plans to incorporate those choices. It allowed us to get fair competitive bids from recommended contractors and we couldn't be happier. It was easy, cost effective and amazingly efficient.

I hired Knaak Design to re-design the outdoor pool and lanai areas of our former model Villa in North Naples. The original developer design was for instant full grown foliage which is common, and by the time we purchased the villa it was significantly overgrown. After reviewing numerous design firms, I gravitated to Knaak due to the crispness of design and creative use of plantings. We asked Robert to come up with an expanded design, pushing back the property line to incorporate an outdoor dining area, dog run, linear fireplace, tv wall and casual outdoor living area. The result is a fabulous cohesive minimal design softened by greenery. We live in this new space as it has transformed our Villa to a very welcoming modern retreat. It has all the components we asked for and requires minimal upkeep as well. The key component to the re-design, in addition to Robert's Teams' creativity, was the virtual reality depiction of the renovation. This, once settled on, provided a template for all trades to be on the same page as we had multiple trades involved in the implementation. Robert understood the feel we were looking for quickly and provided a fair amount of numerations to get it just right for us. We are very pleased.

My wife and I have worked with Robert, and his team, first as customers and now as colleagues. Our landscape business needed a team that could create unique and affordable landscape plans to service our growing customer base. Knaak Design did an excellant job on my home landscaping design and execution project this Fall (2012). Te house is an older cottage style home but we just remodelled it throughly and it was in need of a totally new contemporary look for the lanscaping. We are particularly happy with the design and the way the architect (Mike Mayer) listened to us but took our iinspiration/ideas to the next step to transform them into a cohesive style and design reflecting what we wanted and complementing the house. Mike was also responsive in overseeing the project and was easy to work with, and we really appreciated his attention to detail. The only reason I don't give a 5 is because the project's execution took longer than it was suppposed to and that got frustrating. However, the work was done well and the end result is really great. I would recommend these guys.

We are a general contractor and pool builder in Lee County, Florida and needed a reliable and visionary designer for a Swiss client to handle the remodel of their beach front estate in Ft. Myers Beach. Knaak Design Group handled and continues to handle the addition of a pool and spa, as well as the redesign of the grounds of an ocean front estate on Ft. Myers Beach. In addition to the design of the pool and spa, as well as architectural services for the grounds Knaak Design Group recreated the floor plan and elevations of the main house and guest house (built in 1926 - so no really good plans available) and did the engineering and design of the addition of two balconies. They are also managing and dealing with securing all permits, including FLDEP approval. Robert Knaak communicates clearly and works very fast and efficient. I would readily recommend Knaak Design Group and am looking forward working on many more projects together with Knaak Design Group
