The client envisioned transforming their small courtyard into a private pool retreat—and the challenge was on. We repurposed a tall courtyard wall into a dramatic vertical water feature, creating a soothing cascade visible from the living room and delivering a peaceful soundtrack throughout the home.

Despite the compact footprint, we crafted a narrow play pool with a shallow Baja shelf—just the right amount of space for cooling off or lounging in the sun. The surrounding deck embraces rustic Asian influences with sculptural driftwood elements, boat-shaped planters filled with black beach pebbles, and weathered bamboo accents that add both texture and warmth.
