Do you handle the gas line and permitting?
Yes. Licensed gas subcontractors are part of our team on every build, and we carry the Naples permitting through in-house - no separate contractor handoffs.
Can the fire feature tie into the pool and outdoor kitchen?
That's the point of a single design-build team. Fire, water, kitchen and seating are drawn as one composition - fire bowls on the spa wall, a linear pit anchoring the lounge, a fireplace framing the view.
Gas or wood-burning - which is better in Naples?
Most Naples builds are gas for convenience and clean operation in the climate, but we build wood-burning surrounds where the client wants the real thing. We'll walk you through the trade-offs for your property.
Are fire features safe near the house in Naples?
When designed properly, yes - setbacks, fire-rated materials, draft engineering, and code-compliant gas lines are all part of our standard process.
Do you do automated ignition and remote control?
Yes. Most of our gas fire features include remote-control ignition, smart-home integration, and weather-aware shutoff for gulf storms.
How long does a fire feature project take?
Standalone fire pits typically six to eight weeks. Integrated fireplace structures two to three months. Custom commissioned sculpture pieces longer.
Can a fire feature be combined with the pool or a water feature?
Often it is the whole point. Fire bowls flanking a spa, a flame edge along an infinity pool, a fire wall reflected in still water. Because we design and build the pool, the water lines, and the fire together, they are planned as one composition rather than added on later.

Our warranty.
Knaak warrants all construction work to be free of defects in material and workmanship for one year from substantial completion. If a defect appears within that year, we remedy it at no cost to you, provided the terms of your agreement have been met.
Plant material is warranted as follows: one year on trees, palms, shrubs, and ground cover; six months on perennial flowers; and thirty days on sod. Annual flowers, roses, container plantings, and existing plants relocated on site are not warranted. Warranty does not extend to damage from circumstances beyond our control, such as freezing, drought, pests, fire, wind, flood, vandalism, or governmental water-use restrictions.
Assemblies, accessories, and installed equipment carry their manufacturer's warranty, which we assign to you. We compact surface and sub-base density to meet or exceed specification, though we are not responsible for natural settling. Beyond the warranties stated here and in the Standard Pool Amenities Warranty provided with your agreement, no other warranties are expressed or implied. Full warranty terms are provided in your written agreement.
