For this courtyard home, the clients were inspired by the bold architectural forms they admired during a trip to the West Indies. They wanted a central focal point that reflected that influence—so the pool and its centered fountain wall were designed to occupy the heart of the courtyard, fully visible from all sides of the home. A vibrant glass tile finish on the pool and spa introduced a modern aesthetic, balanced by natural travertine marble pavers and a stacked stone water feature for warmth and texture.

On the opposite side, an L-shaped summer kitchen with bar seating was paired with a separate lounge area featuring an outdoor TV and linear fireplace. Colorful pottery and tropical plantings softened the architecture, bringing a vibrant yet relaxed energy to this private, resort-style courtyard.
