This historic 1900s beach bungalow underwent a complete ground-up transformation. Knaak was brought on to reimagine the outdoor living experience with a focus on elegant structure and native coastal integration. The design features two expansive raised patios that extend off the upstairs bedrooms, offering elevated views and seamless indoor-outdoor living. Below, ample shaded areas were created to maximize usability and comfort, even in the Florida sun.

A sprawling deck connects the side yard to the rear of the property and leads gracefully down to the beach, framing a sleek lap pool and integrated jacuzzi spa—bringing resort-style functionality to the shoreline.

In keeping with the spirit of the site, the landscape architecture was carefully curated to preserve the natural feel of the coastal dunes. Only native, salt-tolerant species were used, maintaining ecological integrity while enhancing the home’s sense of place.
